The snow sports season at the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park officially begins today.
The Porcupine Mountains Winter Sports Complex features a ski hill with a triple chair lift and stunning views of Lake Superior, along with groomed trails for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and fat-tire biking.
There is no charge to use most of the facilities, besides the Recreation Passport you need to enter the park. There is a fee for lift tickets.
