PLDL Launches Winter Reading Program

The Portage Lake District Library has kicked off its winter reading challenge.

The library has joined an online reading program called READsquared. This year’s theme is “Snow is Falling, Books are Calling.”

The challenge is to read at least 600 minutes by March 11th. Any reading counts, including traditional books, ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and fanfiction. Keep track of your minutes at the READsquared website.

Those that complete the challenge will be entered into a raffle drawing for fun prizes for younger readers, gift certificates for Black Ice Comics for teens, and custom PLDL coffee mugs for older readers.
