Ms. Jennifer Saaranen Nominated for Patricia Behring Teacher of the Year Award

Ms. Jennifer Saaranen from Lake Linden – Hubbell Middle School & High School has been nominated for Patricia Behring Teacher of the Year award. More information on the award here. 

All nominees receive $500, and the winner of the award receives $10,000.

The nominees are teachers who demonstrate a commitment to engage students in historical learning through the innovative use of primary sources, implement active learning strategies to foster historical thinking skills, and participate in the National History Day Contest.
