Houghton H.S. Seniors To Earn Money For Graduation Party

Graduating Houghton High School students are working to make their final party great, and the city of Houghton is willing to help.

Offered each year to the senior class, the students can earn $500 toward their party if 25 of them come out to do some volunteer work for the city.  They can earn $750 if at least 35 come out.

The city discussed having the seniors clean up the waterfront area in exchange for the donation.
