Helicopter Pilot Gears Up For Bridgefest

Helicopter rides are a great way to celebrate not only the lift bridge, which is what Bridgefest is all about, but also the beautiful sights and wilderness around us.

Helicopter pilot Kyle Shortsleeve commented on the Bridgefest helicopter rides.

“This is my first time up in the UP and I’m really looking forward to experiencing it. We just flew in from Minnesota and I got to see all the wilderness from the sky, and I’m really looking forward to experiencing that from the air, as well as meeting all the people coming out for Bridgefest. Starting here, we’re going to pick up here at the parking lot based just [north] of the bridge here, and we’re going to transit the waterway here and come right back. The 2 mile tours start at $39 per ticket, and our longest tour goes up to 20 miles, and those are $189 per ticket.” – Kyle Shortsleeve, Helicopter Pilot with Lake Superior Helicopters

The tickets are available at the Ramada Inn parking lot, and are distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis.
