Gwinn Man Accused Of Choking Girlfriend Takes Plea Agreement

A Gwinn man arrested after allegedly choking his girlfriend has entered into a plea agreement in Marquette County District Court.

 

29-year-old Brandon Strohm pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault – domestic violence, which is a misdemeanor. He was originally charged with one felony count of assault by strangulation.

 

Strohm was arrested on April 2nd by the Forsyth Township Police Department after their investigation into a domestic assault report on the 400 block of North River Drive revealed that the he had assaulted his 26-year-old girlfriend. He will be sentenced on June 1st.
