NHL

Dylan Larkin’s power play goal in overtime lifted the Red Wings to a 3-2 victory over the Panthers last night. Michael Rasmussen scored early for Detroit, and Robby Fabbri’s third period goal forced the extra stanza. Alex Lyon stopped 32 shots.

The Wings will visit the Hurricanes tomorrow. Coverage will begin at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.

NBA

Jaden Ivey scored a season-high 32 points, but the Pistons lost to the Timberwolves 124-117 last night. Bojan Bogdanovic returned to the lineup, and added 20 points. Jalen Duren grabbed 11 rebounds. Cade Cunningham remains sidelined with an injury.

The Pistons host the Bucks Saturday afternoon.
