Center for Rural Health’s First Town Hall in 2024 Focuses on Caregiving

Around the Copper Country, many seniors rely on caregivers to have the most up-to-date information. This evening the Northern Michigan University Center for Rural Health will host its first monthly community health town hall. Tonight’s program will center on Direct Care Workers and caregiving. The panel of experts invited to the program includes Eric Paad, founder and President of the Caregiver Incentive Project, from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at MSU, and Director of the Impact Alliance Clare Luz. As well as Direct Care Worker Shenae Kreps, and LMSW senior Program Officer Timothy Niyonsenga. The Center for Rural Health encourages the listening community to interact with the panel through direct communication.
