Range Lions Host the UPHTTF’s U.P. Communities Unites Against Human Trafficking Program

One of the greatest tools advocates have for addressing human trafficking happens through educating the public on signs and challenges. Tomorrow the Range Lions Club will host the Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force’s UP Community Unities Against Human Trafficking program.

The educational program will share with the community the current challenges advocates face when trying to find and help victims, signs to look out for, and learn how the community can fight against human trafficking. During the program Michigan State Police, Houghton County Sheriff, and the UPHTTF will also share how human trafficking currently impacts communities in the Upper Peninsula.

The free educational program will begin at 10 am tomorrow inside the Range Lounge and VFW Post #6165, located on Baltic Avenue/M-26 in the South Range.
