Road construction projects firm up in L’Anse

Woman killed in Friday car crash identified

The two-vehicle crash on US 41 near Airport Park Road that occurred Friday involved one fatality. Houghton County Sheriff’s Office identified the 79-year-old woman as Lorraine Edna Watts of Houghton. No information was released concerning injuries to the drivers of either vehicle.
