350 Huskies Will Graduate During Mid Year Commencement

350 new huskies will join Michigan Technological University’s vast and global network of alumni tomorrow. Michigan Tech’s 2023 mid-year commencement includes graduates taking their first steps toward leading incredible careers. Tomorrow’s commencement will include two speakers representing the undergraduate and graduate classes.

Aerith Cruz from Minnesota hopes to inspire her fellow undergrads just as her mother and Society of Women Engineers Advisor inspired her to say why not? Let’s just go for it. Graduate Speaker Sushree Dash from India says she plans to share her experience pursuing an advanced degree and the challenges women must overcome while doing so. Reflecting on the importance of resilience, mentorship, and spirit of the Michigan Tech community.

Michigan Technological University 2023 midyear commencement will begin at 10:30 am in the Varsity Gym of the Student Development Center. For those interested in attending graduation but are unable to attend in person a streaming option is available online.
