Changes Coming to Mental Health Access in the Upper Peninsula

Changes are coming to the way residents connect with mental health resources in the Upper Peninsula. Following the emergence of the new year, on January 2nd, 2024 residents in need of mental health services will call their Local Community Mental Health Service Program directly for screening services. Until January 2nd resident will continue to contact the NorthCare Network. Individuals in need of care can call the NorthCare Network at 906 225 7222 or 1 800 305 6564. After that 2nd residents in the Copper Country may contact Copper Country Community Mental Health for Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties. Residents in Gogebic County should contact Gogebic County Mental Health. Find more details about the change in accessing mental health services in the Upper Peninsula here.
