Copper Country Angel Mission Coat Giveaway Starts on Sunday

Ahead of winter, getting your hands on a good winter coat is essential in the Upper Peninsula. Starting on Sunday, the Copper Country Angel Mission in Calumet will begin their coat giveaway. The coat giveaway will go until next Tuesday. The Copper Country Angel Mission has a full stock of winter jackets, boots, hats gloves and more, which includes sizes of all kinds for kids, men and women. Families and individuals from all over the Copper Country visit the Angel Mission each year for their coat giveaway, even driving from as far away as Ontonagon. If you want to help the Copper Country Angel Mission by volunteering, adding to their winter items or give a donation, please stop by their storefront at 433 5^th Street in Calumet. Sunday’s hours are 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Monday & Tuesday is 11 a.m. to 2:00 pm.
