Copper Country Mental Health Opens the Doors During 60th Anniversary Open Houses at Local Facilities

For 60 years the Copper Country Mental Health has supported individuals in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties. Today the group will hold a series of open houses at their facilities throughout the copper country. This evening residents can stop by their local Copper Country Mental Health location and meet the staff. Learn about the services the multi-county agency provides to the community. Attendees can also have a chance at winning door prizes during the celebration. Copper OCuntry Mental Health was founded on December 20 1963 when leadership in the western upper peninsula met to create a board with the mission of supporting the region’s people challenged by a mental illness or developmental disability. The group’s open houses will begin at 5 p.m. this evening at each location. Find more details including addresses for each facility and links to the Copper Country mental health website, here.
