Copper Shores Meals on Wheels Paused for Positive Covid – 19 Case

Copper Shores Meals on Wheels will close today, until Friday. Today the senior meal delivery service announced they are experiencing a staff shortage due to positive COVID-19 cases. Copper Shores Meals on Wheels will not deliver meals from December 5th to the 8th. Seniors did receive meals today and were given additional meals for the three-day period. Executive Director Kathleen Harter says that nearly half of the staff either tested positive or were experiencing symptoms similar to those who had tested already. Meals on Wheels plans to resume operations starting Monday, December 11th.
