Heart Health by the Numbers

February is American Heart month. Celebrate by taking time out of your busy life to focus on your heart. Heart-healthy screenings will be offered free of charge and reviewed by Dr. Khouri, cardiologist from UP Health System Marquette. Screenings include a full lipid profile (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, blood glucose), blood pressure, body mass index and waist circumference.

Screenings will be scheduled on Tuesday, 2/26 (by appointment only). You will receive your results at the presentation the following day, on Wednesday 2/27, 5:30 p.m. at UPHS – Portage Conference Center. Dr. Khouri will discuss the results and provide heart healthy tips. Healthy snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
