Keweenaw County Search and Rescue to Hold First Fundraiser Tomorrow

The Keweenaw County Search and Rescue Team will be holding its first fundraiser this Saturday at the Horizons School in Mohawk. Dine in and take out are available for a Pulled Pork Dinner that includes potato salad, coleslaw, chips, and a drink. Search and Rescue members will be holding a raffle for various items donated by local businesses. Tickets are available at the Sheriff’s office, or you can purchase at the door. All proceeds will go towards training and rescue equipment, which is needed as Keweenaw County becomes a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The Keweenaw County Search and Rescue Bar-B-Que Pork Dinner starts at noon, and goes until 4 pm, at the Horizons Alternative School in Mohawk.
