Light Up Baraga County returning Dec. 11

Plans are coming together for the annual Christmas celebration in L’Anse. At a brief village council meeting last night, councilor LeAnn Davis said the date for Light Up Baraga County has been set for December 11th.

Some additional elements could still be added, including a hot chocolate stand, a bonfire, and a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Houghton Community Broadcasting’s Todd VanDyke has agreed to serve as the event’s master of ceremonies.
