Michigan DNR Announces Two April Public Input Dates for Mineral Leases in Menominee and Baraga Counties

Michigan Department of Natural Resource will hold two public input opportunities for two metallic mineral leases for the Keweenaw Land Association and Aquila Resources USA.

Michigan DNR has received a mineral lease application from Aquila Resources USA, that requested the mineral rights to 406.67 acres in Menominee County. The DNR will host the Aquila Resources Lease input session on April 16th.

A second mineral lease public input opportunity with the Keweenaw Land Association will take place the following day on the 17th. KLA has applied for the metallic mineral lease rights for 10,631 acres in Baraga, Dickinson, Iron, Marquette, and Menominee counties.
