Michigan Tech Graduates Ready To Start New Careers

As the 2016-2017 academic year comes to a close, graduates from Michigan Tech are set to put their education to work.

Nearly 1,000 graduates received their bachelors, masters and PhD’s at Saturday’s Spring Commencement.

Civil Engineering major Michael Sommers is headed to a job downstate but there are things he will miss about being at Tech.
