Michigan Tech Releases Hazard Mitigation Survey for Student Feedback

Michigan Tech University plans to update the institution’s Hazard Mitigation Plan. Recently the university published a survey asking for student feedback on the plan. The survey will help Michigan Tech better understand the concerns and needs of students, as well as help identify mitigation activities that should lessen the impact of future hazard events, including those linked to climate change. After the investment completes its hazard mitigation plan revisions it will be used to guide responses to future hazard events. Responses to the survey are due by March 15th. Anyone with questions about the mitigation plan or survey should contact Lori Wier. The Survey and Contact information can be found here.
