No injuries were reported by Ontonagon Village Fire in an early morning blaze Saturday. The Ontonagon Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call for a fire at 1:30 am Saturday for a fully engulfed structure. Crews were able to control the fire after four hours on scene and extinguish remaining hot spots. The fire incident required a full response from the department. Assisting on the scene were Sonco North Ambulance, and Michigan State Police Troopers. Carp Lake Township Fire was initially paged for support but was later called off. The fire department reports that no one was injured in the fire. Find more details here.
