The Nature Conservancy Seeks Public Input on Keweenaw Heartlands Governance Section

The Nature Conservancy has invited the Copper Country to provide important feedback for its Blueprint of the Keweenaw Heartlands. Section five of the Heartlands’ documents will deal with the governance structure for future park operations. The section outlines the roles and capabilities of a local level entity to govern the forestland. The documents also details the makeup of a stakeholder committee, and government relations committee, each serving advisory roles to the local agency in charge of the Keweenaw Heartlands.

Public input should be emailed to keweenaw@tnc.org. You can find links to the section five documents for the Blueprint of the Keweenaw Heartlands, along with links to previous sections below.
