Two Student Teams From Michigan Tech Presenting Startups at CMU Today

Student teams from Michigan Tech have made it through the qualifying rounds for the New Venture Challenge hosted by Central Michigan University.

The competition is for independent student ventures with companies in the start-up ideation, early growth, or seed stages. The companies ideally have a positive impact on the business environment in Michigan and the united states.

Two student teams twill present today at Central Michigan University.

Engineering management graduate student, Bayle Golden, will pitch STEMPOWER. It will work to create an integrative STEM experience for young girls through a physical toy line and an online STEM community. Biomedical engineering graduate student Rourke Sylvain will pitch imi, which develops wearable devices that provide individuals the ability to monitor their hormone level continuously.
