Visit Keweenaw Encourages Cyclists to Check Out Summer Events While the Trails Dry Out

It seems like not that long ago Bikers were taking in a rare opportunity to hit the trails during winter. But since the recent snow storms last week trails are back to closed until the thaw has ended and trails have dried out. Trails club’s presidents still encourage cyclists to hold off on spring biking for a few more weeks. Though Visit Keweenaw knows many will want to get the wheels turning as soon as possible.

Recently Visit Keweenaw encouraged cyclists who are already excited about the season to check out registration and details for several summer biking events. Including Ride the Keweenaw with the Copper Harbor Trails Club and the Back 9 Endurance Run at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge over Memorial Day weekend. Or Miner’s Revenge on the Soke Trails. Those interested in learning more about biking and cycling opportunities coming to the Keweenaw this summer can find more details about Ride the Keweenaw, the Back 9 Endurance Run, and Miner’s Revenge below.
