41 North Film Fest Opens Tonight

The annual 41 North Film Festival opens tonight.

Over the next four days, two dozen new films will be screened at the Rozsa Center. All are free, and open to the public.

Organizer Dr. Erin Smith says she started the festival when she saw that students were only being exposed to movies on small screens…

Today’s opener at 5:00 is American Factory, about a Chinese company that begins production in a former General Motors plant in Ohio. At 7:30, Human Nature explores the science and ethics of genetic manipulation. And, of course, there’s something for Halloween…

Smith was a guest on last Sunday’s Copper Country Today. You can hear the entire interview in our podcast. You can link to the full 41 North Film Festival schedule here.
