AAA Michigan Wants to Make Sure Child Safety Seats are Installed Right

AAA Michigan wants to make sure motorists are putting their kids in safety seats and that those seats are being used correctly.

AAA Michigan spokesman Gary Bubar says, as part of National Child Passenger Safety Week, they’re offering free safety seat checks.

Bubar says between half and three-quarters of all child safety seats are not being properly used or are the incorrect seat for the child.

He says child seats help protect kids from crash impacts, so it’s important to get the right size seat and ensure they’re installed the right way.
