Baraga County Site Featured in Pure Michigan Campaign

One of Baraga County’s most beautiful autumn vistas will be featured in this fall’s Pure Michigan billboard campaign. The colorful photo of a single fishing boat on Lake Plumbago at Alberta is one of three scenes that will be used on billboards in Michigan and surrounding states, and on tour bus wraps in Chicago. The fall campaign will invest 1.3-million dollars, and will also include tv and radio ads. Half of that money comes from Pure Michigan’s regional partners, including the Keweenaw Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
