BHK Child Development Receives the Nita M Lowey Grant to Support After-School and Summer Programming

BHK Child Development has received a large grant from the state that will continue to support after-school and summer programming. BHK has received the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant from the Michigan Department of Education. The grant will award the group 1.5 million dollars over five years. To support the continuation of after-school program opportunities for Baraga and L’Anse elementary students, and support opportunities for students in the summer with the Great Explorations program.
