Changes to Keweenaw County SOS Office

Scheduling changes are being made at a Secretary of State’s office in Keweenaw County. Secretary of State Ruth Johnson reminds residents that the Mohawk office returns to one-day-a-week service instead of two beginning in November as it adjusts to seasonal business volume. The office on US-41 will be open on Thursdays only beginning the week of Nov 2nd. Hours remain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a lunch closure from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The last day for Tuesday service for the winter will be Oct. 28th. The Mohawk office opened in January 1999 and is the first full-service Secretary of State office in Keweenaw County.
