Chutes & Ladders In Houghton To Be Closed During Park Maintenance

CITY OF HOUGHTON

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The City of Houghton will be performing maintenance and preparing for improvements at Kestner Waterfront Park and Chutes and Ladders the weeks of May 11-15 and May 18-22. During those times there will be heavy equipment working in the area and at some point Chutes and Ladders must be closed for safety while the heavy equipment is near the play area.

The City asks for your patience during the work, to please respect the safety measures put in place, and that you consider using other play areas such as the parks on West Edwards and Garnet Street during the times men are working. The work areas will generally reopen after 4 pm each day. Thank you.

Eric T. Waara, P.E.

City Manager
