Dianda Kicks Off Re-election

Democratic Representative Scott Dianda has announced that he is seeking re-election in the upcoming November election. For two years, Dianda has served the 110th district in the Western U.P. and one of the biggest issues he was proud to be a part of was the push to increase funding for K-12 education. Dianda mentioned his fight against the pension tax on Michigan seniors and his involvement in helping Copper Country residents during the propane shortage. He adds that the biggest issue he will speak about on his campaign involves getting help for Michigan veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder and to create ways to have them treated locally. Dianda adds that creating jobs is another thing he will continue to push for and that with the help of the community, he can represent the Copper Country in Lansing for a second term.
