Farm on the Town Tomorrow

Copper Country residents can meet some farm animals… and some farmers… at tomorrow’s third annual Farm on the Town event in Houghton. Activities will take place in the parking lot at the Bookworm, at the east entrance to downtown. Arthur Lampinen from the Bookworm says there’ll be a petting zoo, and a beehive display. You can meet some area farmers, see some farm equipment, purchase locally-made farm products, and see demonstrations of several farm-related activities. Farm on the Town runs from 10:00 until 2:00. There is no charge. It’s co-sponsored by the Copper Country Farm Bureau. Organizers ask that you park cross the street in the Chamber of Commerce lot.
