Fatal Fire Investigation

A fatal fire at a house in Menominee over the weekend continues to be investigated. Police and Fire Departments responded to the call at approximately 3:30 pm on Saturday. Firefighers found the body of a 70-year old woman. They performed CPR but were unable to revive her. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was ordered. The name of the victim has not been released. The cause of the fire and death remain under investigation.
