Four Resolutions Passed By Houghton City Council

At Wednesday’s Houghton City Council meeting, the council approved resolutions updating the city’s Fair Housing policy; accepted increased funding from the Michigan Department of Transportation; showed support for a proposed new microbrewery, the Houghton Brewing Company, on Sheldon Avenue in downtown; and to officially eliminate Oak Street which was removed as a city street some time ago.
