Gas Prices Climb Up

The average price of a gallon of gas increased eight cents per gallon during the past week.

AAA reports that the average is now about $1.91 per gallon.
While it’s an increase, it’s still 16 cents per gallon less than this same time last year.

Among the cities surveyed, Flint had the lowest price at $1.85 per gallon.

Marquette had the highest average, at $1.94 per gallon.

For five straight weeks now, the average gas price in all ten Michigan metro areas has been below two dollars per gallon, and below the national average.
