Gas Prices Dip Down

Gas prices across Michigan are down for the third consecutive week, falling by at least ten-cents per gallon from last week, according to AAA Michigan.

The latest Auto Club survey shows the current statewide average for self-serve unleaded fuel is $2.62 per gallon. That’s ten cents less than last week’s average and about 88-cents less than this same time last year.

Of the cities surveyed by AAA the lowest average price for self-serve unleaded fuel can be found in the Jackson area, where it’s $2.41 per gallon.

The highest average price is in the Detroit area, at $2.72 a gallon.
