Michigan motorists are getting a break this week with lower gas prices, based on a new survey from Triple-A Michigan.
The Auto Club survey found average weekly gas prices are down ten-cents from a week ago, leaving the current statewide average at about $2.84 per gallon, which is also about 84-cents less than this same time last year.
Of the cities surveyed by Triple-A says the lowest average price for self-serve unleaded fuel can be found in the Jackson area, where it’s about $2.67 per gallon.
The highest average price can be found in the Traverse City
area, where it’s about $2.94 a gallon.
