Gas Prices to Increase

This week, you’d better fill up your car’s gas tank. Gas prices are starting to move higher in Michigan after dropping to the fourth-lowest prices in the nation. GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick DeHaan says the state was overdue for an increase and prices are expected to move up by about 20 cents a gallon. Yesterday’s average before the move according to Triple-A Michigan was $1.90 a gallon, while GasBuddy has the average a penny cheaper. DeHaan says before the hike, the state had some prices that would have been unimaginable just a few months ago. Gas prices in Michigan haven’t gone up since Thanksgiving when they rose to $2.99 a gallon.
