Gov Signs Pedal Pub Bills Into law

You can now drink beer or wine as you bike through communities like Traverse City, Grand Rapids and Marquette on pedal pubs.

The governor signed bills in to law Wednesday setting statewide standards for pedal pubs and allowing people to drink while they pedal.

Kevin Farron, owner of TC Cycle Pub in Traverse City, expects business to pick up now that people can drink on pedal pubs.

Farron is planning to eventually hire 10 more drivers to meet demand for tours.
