Hancock Parks & Rec Endowment Established

If you ever wanted to make a contribution to a park or outdoor area in Hancock, now is your chance. Last night, the city council approved the establishment of a parks and recreation endowment that would be facilitated through the Keweenaw Community Foundation. The donations can come from anyone and will only be used for parks and recreation. City Manager Glenn Anderson says those who donate can even specify where they want their funds to go towards.

The donations are tax-deductible.
