Husky Statue Unveiled at MTU

Now in the middle of the Michigan Tech campus sits a husky statue, which was unveiled yesterday. The statue was placed on the boulder in the Huskies Plaza. Students, faculty, and alumni were present for the dedication. MTU President Glen Mroz spoke about some of the numbers behind this statue.

The project was made possible by a donation from the Alumni Association as well as many other alumni and friends including Dan Lorenzetti.

A total of 832 pavers were purchased as part of the project.
