Keweenaw Job Fair April 7th

Michigan Works!, Finlandia University, and The Finlandia CEO Club will be hosting the second annual Keweenaw Job Fair in a little under two weeks.

The job fair will be held at the Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock on Tuesday, April 7^th from 11am to 2pm.

The fair will feature regional employers looking for career, full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. There is no cost to attend.

For job seekers, Michigan Works! will be hosting a resume and interviewing workshop on April 1 and again on April 2from 5 to 8 p.m. Job seekers interested in attending the resume/interviewing must sign up by calling (906) 482-6916, then dialing 0 for the operator or stop in at the Hancock office of Michigan Works! to reserve your seat.

At the first Keweenaw Job Fair held last April, there were nearly 200 job seekers and over 20 companies and organizations. This year’s event is expected to be even bigger.
