Keweenaw Science and Engineering Festival Begins Today

The Keweenaw Science and Engineering Festival begins today.

Among the opening day’s festivities are the art and technology blended art show called Scale at the Rozsa Center.

The Quincy Mine is offering tours throughout the day.

Two events at Finlandia University include a presentation on hand-washing and a demonstration on the birthing process.

The Copper County campus of Gogebic Community College will be hosting two sessions of Exploring the Human Body.

Teenagers in grades 5th through 12th are invited to the Continental Fire Company this evening to take part in Nerd Night…which will feature science with amazing demonstrations and hands-on activities presented by the Michigan Tech Physics Dept.

T-Shirts and wristbands will also be available.
