Last Council Meeting for Haeussler and Givens

The Hancock City Council will have a slightly different look the next time they meet. Last night was the final meeting for councilors John Haeussler and Barry Givens. Both have chosen to not to put their names on the ballot for the upcoming election. At the end of the meeting, Haeussler gave a few pieces of advice to the council as he prepares to move on.

Givens also had some advice to give to the council.

Haeussler has served on the council for the last four years. Givens was appointed to fill an unexpired term for the last two years, but did serve as city mayor for four years back in 2004.
