Let-Run Advisories Still In Effect

The frost line is slowly beginning to lift but the cool temperatures that we have been experiencing means some residents are still in danger of having their pipes freeze.

Houghton City Manager Eric Waara says some previously frozen lines have opened up but he doesn’t recommend turning off the faucet just yet.

Waara said he expects to begin notifying residents on the city’s Let-Run list to shut off their water by the next council meeting in two weeks.
