Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation purchases new recliner, blanket warmer for patients

Patients at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital will be able to enjoy a new recliner and blanket warmer.  The items were purchased by the Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation for the hospital’s medical-surgical unit.

The funds for the recliner were raised during the Foundation’s 10th annual golf outing in July 2018.  The blanket warmer was purchased with funds raised at the Foundation’s Christmas Concert in December.

“We are sincerely grateful for the support of our generous community and the efforts of our Foundation,” said Dylan Taylor, interim chief administrator for Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital and Clinics. “This is another great example of how we work together to enhance the patient experience for the best outcomes.”

The Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation will be hosting their 11th annual Golf Outing on Wednesday, July 17, at the Ontonagon Golf Course.

Registration is at 1 p.m. Shotgun start is at 2 p.m. Dinner and awards take place at 6:30 p.m.

There will also be a live auction afterwards which is open to the public and does not require participation in the golf outing to enter.
