Baraga Area Schools Closed After COVID-19 Diagnosis

Baraga Area Schools were closed today, after a staff member was diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to Superintendent Rich Sauru, they are working with the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department, with their investigation and contact tracing, to determine if anyone was at risk for exposure.

So far, the plan is to reopen tomorrow, but that depends on what their investigation finds today.

Keweenawreport.com will have updates, as they become available.
