Baraga Woman Injured In Alcohol-Related Crash

Police are investigating a crash that happened early Thursday morning in Baraga Township.

Just before 1:30am, Troopers from the Michigan State Police Calumet Post, L’Anse Detachment, investigated a personal injury accident on Baraga Plains Road near Mansfeldt Road.

A 47-year-old Baraga woman was traveling southbound on Baraga Plains Rd when she lost control of her vehicle, striking several mailboxes before leaving the roadway and eventually hitting a tree.
