Big Brothers Needed in Copper Country

With the school year underway, U.P. Kids is putting the call out for Big Brothers.

Mark Lambert says they usually have enough women volunteers to fill the need for Big Sisters, but men are in shorter supply, and there’s a waiting list of boys who need role models.

Efforts are made to match you with kids who share your interests…

They ask for a consistent commitment to connect with your Little Brother, but it doesn’t need to take a lot of time…

Lambert says most men who get started with the program fall in love with it, and the benefits provided to the Little Brother are immeasurable.
